Festival Jobs

Edinburgh University Students’ Association provides a unique and diverse range of services and facilities right at the centre of the festival. We are an independent registered charity and employ over 600 staff at this time of year. Three of our Union buildings form the hub of festival activities working with our festival partners, Gilded Balloon and Pleasance Theatre Trust, to provide the most exiting festival offerings every year. Our buildings are Teviot Gilded Balloon, Pleasance Dome (Potterrow) and The Pleasance Courtyard.

A strong commercial team runs a range of catering, shops and bars, from informal spaces to relax with a coffee, to VIP cocktail bars, open air barbeques and one stop retail units. While hosting the main events of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival we have an exciting new addition to our estate in the form of a new retail and catering outlet at Pleasance Dome.

EUSA’s vision is to ensure a world class student experience for all students at the University of Edinburgh, and all our work at the festival helps to provide the funds required to do this. During the year as well as running some of the best facilities in the country the Association runs campaigns and represents student views to the University and to other external bodies, including the Scottish and Westminster Governments.

We expect all staff to share our enthusiasm for EUSA and to be positive ambassadors for the organisation. We expect staff to support each other, to demonstrate high expectations of themselves and their colleagues, and actively contribute to the development of their team and our organisation.
