Renaming Teviot

On International Women's Day, EUSA will rename Teviot Row House after long-serving employee Marion Matheson.

Marion worked for EUSA from October 1979 until her retirement in July 2009 in different roles, and laterally as a Senior Administration Adviser.

Marion cared passionately about EUSA and dedicated herself to working alongside students which she found very rewarding and fulfilling. She is an honorary life member of EUSA.

Sadly Marion was diagnosed with cancer a few months after she retired and she died in St Columba’s Hospice a few weeks ago.

Staff Glam Day at EUSA for Marion

To coincide with renaming Teviot as 'The Marion Matheson building' as part of International Women’s Day, we thought it would be a bit fun to do something that Marion liked to do – get dressed up!

EUSA are having a ‘Glam Day’ to honour Marian and International Women’s Day.

Everyone is very welcome to participate and we’ll have a number Edinburgh Students’ Charity Appeal (ESCA) collecting tins dotted about EUSA for St Columba’s Hospice. Get dressed up and we’ll raise some money for St Columba’s Hospice.
