About EUSA
Edinburgh University Students’ Association (EUSA) is run by students, for students. EUSA is here to help students get the most out of their time at university.
EUSA provides a diverse range of services to its 26,000 student members. We are an autonomous body with registered charity status and value our independence from the University of Edinburgh. We work closely with the University to ensure a world class student experience for all students at the University.
EUSA runs campaigns and represents student views to the University and to other external bodies, including the Scottish and Westminster Governments. The Association provides academic representation to assist students with the resolution of academic issues and provides invaluable advisory services to the student body through our three Advice Place services.
EUSA operates a range of commercial services. Our Union buildings, Potterrow, Teviot, King’s Buildings House, and the Pleasance provide bars, catering, shops, social space and function rooms in the main campus areas of the university. The organisation also operates a successful functions business ‘Honours Catering’ and operates a number of small retail operations across the University estate. We also run a full entertainment programme and host the main events of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
